The Hub plans to convene quantum researchers, doctoral candidates, and industry representatives to explore cutting-edge developments in quantum technology. A key initiative will be the development of a comprehensive quantum benchmark framework to evaluate and grade current quantum computing platforms and error correction implementations.
The team is working with students and faculty at Columbia University to develop this initiative. Columbia's growing reputation as a quantum research leader, combined with its extensive academic ecosystem and resources, makes it an ideal environment for launching this research community.
