Quantum Meow Launches Beta of Qiskit MCP Code Assistant

(NEW YORK)–Quantum Meow, a quantum research lab and venture network based in New York City, today announced the beta launch of its Qiskit Code Assistant and MCP server.

The Quantum Meow Qiskit MCP Server gives AI assistants and agents seamless access to the complete Qiskit documentation ecosystem. It enables intelligent retrieval of SDK module documentation, implementation guides, and best practices through a standardized Model Context Protocol (MCP) interface.

Key Features

  • πŸ“š Complete Documentation Access: Query all Qiskit SDK modules, addon packages, API references, guides, and tutorials
  • πŸ”„ Dynamic Content Discovery: Automatically discovers available documentation from the live sitemap β€” no manual updates needed when new content is published
  • πŸ“– Implementation Guides: Access best practices for optimization, error mitigation, dynamic circuits, and more
  • πŸ” Smart Search: Search across the entire Qiskit documentation with fuzzy matching
  • πŸ“ Markdown Output: Clean, formatted documentation ready for AI consumption

Qiskit is one of the premier open-source frameworks for quantum programming, giving developers a deep library of circuit templates, algorithms, and hardware-agnostic tools for building on today’s quantum systems. Its active community and tight integration with IBM Quantum hardware have made it a de facto standard for teams moving from quantum theory into working code β€” but that same depth can make the documentation hard to navigate for both developers and AI coding agents. Quantum Meow’s MCP server is designed to close that gap, putting the right reference material directly in front of the assistant or agent doing the work.

This beta is the first testing phase for Quantum Meow, which will soon launch the Quantum Meow Runtime Service β€” giving AI assistants direct access to IBM Quantum computing services through Qiskit IBM Runtime. That server will enable quantum circuit creation, execution, and management directly from AI conversations.

Access and Token Credentials

The Qiskit MCP Server is open to use during this initial testing phase. Over time, access to higher usage tiers and runtime services will move to a paid tier and API-key model, with Quantum Meow access tokens offered as an alternative path to elevated access.

Separately, Quantum Meow has launched the QMEOW Token MCP, a lightweight, high-performance remote MCP server built for crypto and quant trading bots. It exposes live price, volume, liquidity, order-flow metrics, and multi-timeframe price change data for the $QMEOW access token on Solana, acting as a public, real-time market oracle optimized for Claude Desktop, Cursor IDE, autonomous trading agents, and quantitative crypto bots.

Instructions for connecting the QMEOW Token MCP server to agents built on Claude, Cursor, or autonomous trading frameworks such as Python or Eliza are available at: https://github.com/QuantumMeow/qmeow-token-mcp/

Qiskit Fall Fest Collaboration

Quantum Meow is proud to be a lead collaborator in this year’s IBM Quantum Qiskit Fall Fest at Columbia University, one of the top Ivy League universities in the United States. The event is a key opportunity to grow the Quantum Meow ecosystem and build out its quantum development team.
